“Poetry is the rhythmical creation of beauty in words.”
Edgar Allan Poe

A poem is a tickle
That’s stuck inside your head.
It’s a thought, a wish, a dream
Just waiting to be read.
A poem is a little thought -
Wiggling inside your ear
If you don’t let that thought out
He’ll tickle you all year!
Wiggling and giggling
That thought will move around
And that little thought won’t stop
Until you write him down.
And when you do
You’ll find it’s true
That when that poem is read
You’ll find another dancing in
The corners of your head.
This cat’s mommy put him in the bath tub but this cat does not look amused. Make bath time more fun with different sizes and shapes of old cups. Mix different amounts of soap with water to come up with your own potions.
Bet this kitty would have liked bath time a little more if he knew how to play bubble scientist!
Now that Santa has gone back home for the Winter Rudolph is just too pooped out to take another flight for at least eleven months. But that’s ok. Who needs elves when with a few 25 cent felt sheets, a blunt sewing needle, scissors, thread and your grown up’s permission you can make just about anything your heart desires!
Don’t waste that Christmas gift card you got from grandma on one toy… spend the money on craft supplies and make a whole toy box full of your own designs! Who knows – if Santa likes your designs he just might hire you!
Adventure… check. Drama… check. Little kids doing BIG things… check! The Bible is full of stories and people who are epic-awesome.
Best of all, most of you probably already have a Bible laying around your house. If not, pick up a copy of Cokesbury’s Bible Tell Me Who. It was my sincere joy to work with the amazing writers at Hudson Bible to bring the people of the Bible to life.
